Sindhuja meaning "born of the Ocean", reflects the essence of this unique shell set. Unlike typical shell jewellery, this is a ' Desified' reinterpretation - marrying the raw beauty of shells with traditional Indian design sensibilities.
Created as an experimental piece, this set blends three methods:
- Stone Embedding- inspired by Kundan/Jadau technique for intricate finish.
- Resin- used innovatively as a joining material adding strength and as a top coat adding shine to the piece.
- Wire wrapping- two distinct wire weave - 1. honey comb 2. connector
A perfect fit for Haldi or Mehendi ceremonies, these pieces as set or individual brings a fresh, fun twist for brides who want to stand out. Additionally, with shells being considered auspicious in most of the Indian traditions, it adds a meaningful charm to the bride's look.
